The Canadian Tire - Jumpstart Kids Zone is a FUN area of the 1000 Islands Boat Show where children can PLAY while their parents 'SHOP'.

Thanks to Gananoque Canadian Tire and Downtown Gananoque B.I.A., kids won't want to leave! 

Parents can drop off their children in this supervised, safe, and secure area while they check out everything the 1000 Islands Boat show has to offer.

The Kids Zone is open to children of all ages during show hours and all activities are FREE but parents are encouraged to make a donation to the Canadian Tire Jumpstart Program. 

Strong communities include strong kids. We believe all kids should have the chance to run, skate, play, and grow. Canadian Tire Jumpstart is a community-based charitable program that helps kids in financial need aged 4-18 participate in organized sports and recreation such as hockey, dance, soccer and swimming aged so they can develop important life skills, self esteem and confidence.

National in scope but local in focus, Canadian Tire Jumpstart delivers support to children through a Canadian-wide network of local chapters, made up of a variety of community leaders committed to helping kids get active.

These community partners are joined by Canadian Tire Dealers and Petroleum Agents, and together the chapters identify children in financial need who would benefit from the program.

To date, there are 279 Canadian Tire Jumpstart chapters in communities across the country. Since its launch in February 2005, Canadian Tire Jumpstart has helped give more than 216,498 kids in financial need the chance to play.
